I think they probably will provide dedicated servers the more I think about it. The only reason I have to doubt they will is because there will obviously be MASSIVE demand for HALO 2 on XBL, and this translates into a need for many many expensive servers to have a successful multi-player service. But they do have Uncle Bill to support them, so this really shouldn't be a huge obstacle...

I really don't know what a single XBOX could support if they go the peer-to-peer route...
