Curious. It blows me away how many people didn't know this. (In fact, Thumper posted here because he first emailed this to us, and Count Zero said he'd never heard of it, suggested the forum.) I don't know of any other way of getting the sniper rifle on Hang 'em High (default weapons) and getting down WITHOUT getting hurt. It's all about timing - as Ross discovered above. Do it right, it works wonderfully. Do it wrong... you might as well have not tried. :)
