This has always confused me, as well, since we've NEVER made an issue of being competitive in the community. (Well, back in the day, we used to take great pride in beating Ferrex to a news tidbit - we're talking 3-5 minutes, most times - but that was friendly. There was even a Halo Webmasters Forum, where folks who ran Halo sites could get together and talk, without any of the posturing.)

We don't steal content from other sites, we don't badmouth other sites, we don't claim to have superior content... so I'm always blown away, too, when I run across negative stuff. It's as though I spend my free time going around killing puppies or something...

Whatever. Generally, it makes me stick around here more. :)
