In Response To: UNSC flag again. (Warbow) I assume you take the colors from the current UN flag (if I'm wrong, then it's an interesting, if coincidental parallel). Military flags, in particular, have a "centric"ness to them, i.e. a large symbol, made of other symbols, but centered, centered in the middle of the flag, and have a base symmetry as well. I like the world symbol, but radiating lines of stars doesn't strike me as "proper" per a military flag (maybe it strikes me as garish, dunno). What it's missing, to me, is symbology for the Space Command part of the name. Black background with that blue world and a ship zooming out from behind it maybe? I don't know. I just know that I've seen enough military flags for that to look wrong. =) My two bits. - Pfhoenix | |
