In Response To: Lol (mnemesis) : All that and you did it alone?!? 8-0 Well, this is FrogBlast we're talking about. By now, we all should be used to his being able to do every single trick in the universe, and we should all be used to his doing all these tricks single-handedly (and we should all be used to his movies never having any sound!!! ;) ) But, to tell the truth, I find it somewhat amazing that, in one of his movies, he is able to have one player drive along the bottom of Halo, while the second player simultaneously snipes the first from above, with perfect accuracy... and that he did it all alone! ::Narrows eyes suspiciously:: ;) : You ought to be able to find a few volunteers around here. ;-) Ooh! Pick me! Pick me! Ooh! Ooh!!! An e-mail sent to the folks at Official Xbox Magazine: Hello, dear respected Official Xbox Magazine staff. I am a subscriber to your magazine, and, as with most Xbox users, am deeply obsessed with Halo (as I am sure you all are, too), because it, as you have so eloquently put it, is simply the "Best. Game. Ever." Anyway, I am writing regarding your latest magazine issue (November 2002). In it, you dub Edward Glucksman, the winner of your Challenges section, as the "Xbox Gamer of the Year". While I am not undermining Mr. Glucksman's skill, I believe that there is one gamer who deserves recognition from you all, but that (I assume) you surprisingly have not heard of. This man occasionally plays the above-mentioned video game, Halo. While this man may not be the overall "Official Xbox Magazine Xbox Gamer of the Year", seeing as he did not win the challenges section, he is certainly a gifted Halo player. Heh, that's putting it mildly. This man is the most l33t Halo player of all time, the grandaddy of all things Halo. He is a man with more skill than Randy Moss (okay, bad analogy). But the point remains, that this guy is HUGE. Why haven't you heard of him? Because although he is in a position to rule the world with more power then King Henry VIII, he is, and always has been, the most humble and modest Halo-ite in the universe. He just proves time and again that he is the best ever, and then timidly shies away from all the glory that naturally follows. So, I, Halo-Wannabe, will take the responsibility of presenting his Halo greatness before you, because your magazine audience needs to be exposed to Halo, the way it was meant to be played. Okay, enough suspense. Who is this incredible man, you ask? Why, he is none other then the world-reknowned FrogBlast. How big is this guy? Let's put it this way: he appeared on the Halo scene sometime in January, and people worldwide are already asking him to conceive their man-babies. Words can not describe this man: so, we'll let his Halo expertise speak for itself. If you want to see his Halo tricks, his Halo exploits, his Halo exploration, his Halo glitches, his Halo stunts, his Halo divinity... then you can see it all at his website: http://yuan.ecom.cmu.edu/utfoo/. Many of his tricks are also available at http://halo.bungie.org/ (the greatest Halo fansite on the internet). Yeah, I know it will take days, even weeks, for all this to sink in. But after you realize the immense-ness of FrogBlast's accomplishments, I strongly encourage you to contact him, and ask permission to at least do a feature on some of the amazing feats of his, and on FrogBlast himself, to show the world what it has been missing. Your devoted followers need to see FrogBlast. It is something that you owe to them for their continued support. I assure you, it is the Halo story you've been waiting for. Your magazine's popularity will increase exponentially, overnight. Admit it, after seeing his tricks, you now love FrogBlast. Please give him the adoration he deserves. I hope I have succeeded in my effort to show you the value of publicizing the undying accomplishments of the "Halo Gamer of the Year". Although, realistically, he is the "Halo Gamer of the Century", if not the "True Gamer of the Millenia". Respectfully yours,
~Halo-Wannabe. Froggie, I love you, man! |
