Actually, it is, and it does. Notice the maneuvering thrusters alongside the tail, the wing configuration, the general body shape, and (especially) the bulky underbelly coming to an abrupt end where the unloading door would be. I am 105% sure that it is a Pelican. (Though the explosion does obscure its shape somewhat.) : Oh, I see. So the Moon has suddenly developed an ocean and it's own weather
Although they do look like weather patterns and oceans, I think davex is right. Those same patterns perfectly match the "seas" and other dark shapes found on the Moon's surface. Also, it may appear blue due to the effects of the Earth's upper atmosphere (as you can see, the Pelican/spaceship/station MC is on is still within the upper limits of the atmosphere). The Moon may appear to be too large, but often artists exaggerate its size for effect. |
