I read that as 'yes, you can play Halo online with hacks like Gamespy Tunnel, and Xbox Connect, and Aquaduct... and it's quite possible that someone will create a hack to allow Halo to work with Xbox Live - but there won't be a new release of Halo that will make it easier, or more robust.' I could be off. :)
