Heh, now it's working...pretty cool. I remember reading about Orion. It's truly frightening how nuke-happy some people were.
In the late '50's I believe, when they were building Interstate 40 there was serious considerartion given to using nukes to clear the right-of-way through the Rockies.
Still the Atomic cannon cracks me up in a "one nuclear bomb can ruin your'e whole day" sort of way. The cannons report, the pause and then that tremendous explosion...it's comic.
