In Response To: hmmm I have to think about it for a second (Jeffb2006) It gives me a warm, toasty feeling that I've given everyone something new to put in their "Halo Stuff" folders! ;) Thanks for the kind words. I'll probably get round to doing some more but what with a new job and all,I'll struggle to find the time... :( I know what you mean foxhound, but I thought that I would give Sam a more noble air when facing his imminent conversion to smithereens - stiff upper lip, unto the breach and all that military crap. But you're right, I could have laid the emotional strings on a little more thickly! The rhythm choice was really down to creating my own or using samples from the soundtrack itself, and I thought using the break from Covenant Dance, and adding the bass and snare on top sounded best (I am unsure if I have sufficient talent to emulate Uncle Marty's percussive thumpings! Maybe I'll try on the next one. But I have the bass and snare drums on their own so I could try and work them in to give a tune the air of credibility!). Pfhoenix - just listened to Steel Rain, it's funky dude! So, now, I 'll do some more, post 'em, and sit back and wait for the call from Bungie... :):)
