Several reasons.
-I can set up a scene with the atmosphere I want, drop in terrain, objects, whatever, in MUCH less time than LW.
-I love the deep texture editor, there's no end to it,...or figuring it out.
-My present system isn't really up to running LW the way it should be run, and it's more frustrating than productive.

It's kind of a trade off for certain things though,..
Bryce still has serious issues with volumetrics, and lighting, which LW excels at,...plus the mapping is much better in LW.

I've been using them both for years, so I know how to get what I need from them, even if it means compositing.
