Awesome, the notes make it worth reading!

Impressive stuff about how behavioral realism gets put into action. Especially liked the discussion of AI combat and how Bungie limited the knowledge of the enemies and allowed them a range of possible decisions based on that knowledge. Seems like the Elites would be the hardest to write code for as they appear to be the most "aware."

Chuckled at the disclaimer remarking on the difference between appearance and reality with regard to intelligence!

Wished they could have talked more about friendly AI, as well as some of the limitations, e.g., Marines seem to be on a leash and won't follow you outside a specific radius of operation or go off on their own as a group.

Also wished they could have talked a little bit about the future and where they might be able to push their particular brand of AI. Of course, that'd be a little dangerous perhaps.
