I've taken the various sounds I recorded and have piece-mealed together a collection of the sounds, using them for a sound scheme. If anyone is interested, you can grab the zip file that includes 1) all the sounds and 2) a text file showing how I have them mapped).
BTW, for those just interested in the sounds themselves, there's also a decent recording of the opening Gregorian chant that Halo opens with at the menu. I have no intention of releasing ad hoc recordings of the music - I'm going to be buying the soundtrack the second I can. It just makes a great starting windows sound clip. =)
