In Response To: Side note about Covenant species (NthDegree256) the blood of elites and jackals is nice and wet. it sprays everwhere when you meelee a corpse. grunt blood, in addition to being a super-cool neon blue, is really gooey. notice how it sorta just oozes out, and doesn't spray? it's thicker blood. i haven't played with a hunter corpse in awhile, but i seem to remember that their blood thickness is somewhere in between grunt and elite. but its fun because its bright :) thus ends my pointless info session! : Okay, we know that the Covenant are many different species, right? Conquer : and absorb, etc. One reason we can tell that they're from different : planets is that they all have different colors of blood - most species on : Earth all have blood that turns bright red when oxygenated, since we're : all genetically so similar. : But wait! Not all the Covenant species have different colors of blood! : The Jackal and the Elite both sport dark purple bodily fluids. Beyond that, : they have similar body shapes, both have teeth (the presence of Grunt and : Hunter teeth is unknown), and both have hooves. : I'm guessing this is totally useless, worthless info. Who cares, I'm having : fun with it! :-P
