: Sweet! QuickTime VR!!!

: Great idea for demos, walkthroughs, etc.

: Is there a VR authoring plug-in for QuickTime Pro?

: Nice work.

There's a program called QuickTime VR Authoring Studio where you can make walkthroughs and stuff. But all I have is a simple little app called QTVR Make Panorama 2. It's free from Apple, but it is quite old. I wonder if there is a newer app. Anyway, I just made the huge picture (there's a tutorial out there too somewhere) and then dropped it onto that app.

You would think that it would be easy to stitch the pics together, but it's not. Just by turning your head, objects move slightly, so that was a challenge as all of the pictures did not completely match up.

QuickTIme VR originally came out before the iPIX stuff. But with iPIX you can look more up and down, which QuickTime didn't adopt until later (and I don't know how to do).

I'll see if I can make some more, it seems like I have a lot of things to do for some reason, and eventually I'll put it on my site.
