Eh? 9.9 is pretty generous. The repetition of rooms and incessant Flood drops it down to a 9.5 --its only weak-point IMV. The weapons issue is not an issue -- hey you get to drive a Scorpion and handle a variety of weapons that have their advantages and disadvangtes depending on the situation that faces you -- makes you have to both think about what you are doing and even employ different point and shoot skills in conjunction. Plus the detail on those weapons!

As far as the size of the maps and the rolling outdoor hills, that would have been cool, but the did a 10.0 job anyway. Anything more would have been 11.0. I find the outdoor levels to be by far the most interesting to play because of the the play is more varied and you can use so many different strategies as well as explore a little more and even do some sight-seeing! The intergration of some of the inside/outside play was a +++ too. The structure on Halo where you have to go inside the structure and outside made for some good variety.... ok just rambling here.

The only thing was that repetition.. if I had a dime for every Flood I killled...
