It looked like a very 'retro' mtv-ish trick... reuse same footage but zoom in at a different range and speed. It wasn't just repeated straight ahead clips of him so it wasn't so cheesy in my eyes. The cross-dissolves also added a nice touch.

My only complaint would be lack of in-game sounds. If they could've been mixed in a bit, I would've liked that alot. Halo's sounds are soooo awesome, it feels like half a game when they're not present. Of course, maybe Siva tried that and it didn't work out.
