His role in combat was basically to add a shield to the Covenant around him. He was a total coward; he'd hide from everything so he was kind of hard to kill. It definitely made the fighting more interesting and different..."

Very interesting! I would bet this is the scientific caste Covenant race that MC discovered in the FoR book. Also with this detailed description, we now know this picture (http://halo.bungie.org/screenshots/pcgamer800/pcgamer.brainthing.jpg) was The Engineer! Boh-yah!!!

Now who has this magazine? :)
