In Response To: Halo Vidmaster's Challenge and Oath (Pfhor) : After much thought, I believe I came up with how you can become a vidmaster : in Halo- : 1. Of course, all levels have to be played on Leg...I mean Total Carnage. :) Duh : 2. Can not take more than 4 hours to finish a level/chapter. Makes sense : 3. No one survives (except for you and rest of story characters). If you really want to see stylin see if you can kill even the story charactors and still beat it (c= : 4. Only can use melee attack on the backs of the enemy (can't use it on : Flood). We can't lose all the style that goes into it, so we gotta keep the melee, how bout no melee attacks while enemies sleep or from behind (with the exception of hunters) : 5. Can only use vehicles for traveling. Can not run people over in them (I am : not sure about this rule yet) and under no circumstances can use the : vehicle's stationary weapon or have a marine helping you out. They should : be dead anyway. :) Nuthin sez stylin like slamming into three enemies while fishtailing, I vote for you can do anything you want with vehicles except get them flipped. And only the primary trigger may be used. : 6. During battles, you can only use 1 weapon at a time. If you are not being : engaged or surrounded, you may switch weapons at your desire. I'm afraid you lose all that style that only a vidmaster can show off here. It's not a question of it being impossible, it's a question of it being controllable and repeatable. : 7. Only way to face a Hunter is to melee attack him (and this doesn't have to : be a one-hit kill melee attack like rule number 4 states). So Hunters are : an exception to that rule. :) Forget making it melee only that is too easy, the only way to vid it is to skip the pistol and sniper rifle. : Yes, there' that number 7 again! Anyway, that's about it for now. I was : thinking about rules for the grenades, but I don't think it will work out : right. Also I wanted to put a rule it saying you can not lose any health : bars, but I think that may be impossible. : Thoughts or suggestions people? You forgot that you can't die and restart at a checkpoint Oversheilds and Active camo are for spazeroids, as is going back for medipacks. Glass is made to be broken You never need more than One banshee or ghost No turret or unused vehicle should be left un-flipped or undestroyed Sniping does not involve zooming Vidmasters work alone Flashlights need not apply
