I was watching Roughnecks, the CG program based on Heinlein's Starship Troopers, the other night and noted that the mobile infantry looked very similar to the Master Chief. Here's a few shots of mobile infantry (check out the assault rifle)
I found a Roughneck's fan site which showed some concept art, including a starship, the Valley Forge, to which I thought the Pillar of Autumn bears a resemblance. I'll let you judge. Pillar of Autumn (not the best shot - if somebody knows of a better one, I'd appreciate them posting it)

The Pelican dropship also bears semblance to the Roughnecks dropship, but I didn't have time to find shots of either. Easy enough for others to do. Anonymous Rex | |
