In Response To: Crimson Map Pack Trailer (XXLChicken) Quoth no Halo fan ever Here's a depressingly insidious hypothesis. Maybe 343 is well aware that they're misguidedly trying to make the maps look as whoacool as possible while forsaking the classic (perfect) Halo gameplay of large scale areas/encounters peppered with more intimate (lol) close quarters battles. Maybe 343 is doing that because the purpose is to sell as many copies of the map pack as possible. And a trailer doesn't let you experience gameplay. It has to sell you on how detailed it looks, aesthetics and gameplay be damned. Well, I'm just not going to be buying it. And, to be honest, I think I'm done with Halo 4. Ever since Halo 4's release, I've been waiting for Bungie to burp. And now that they have, I feel like I can peacefully let go of a franchise that I've followed for almost 9 years. I guess this was the straw that broke the dead horse's back. Frankie said he left Bungie because what he really loved was Halo. Well, I'm leaving Halo because what I really love is Bungie.
