In Response To: Re: Credit where credit is due (FyreWulff) : They're to hide the initial asset loading, so they DO have a purpose. And : even if you have instant loading, MS requires minimum times on logos at : the start of your game. In the Call of Duty games, you can set the game to skip all of the initial logo screens and hop straight into the multiplayer lobby. It may be the "instant loading" that you're talking about though... Then again, translucent logos are there in the corners of the menus...
