CABIN 1 - http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p188754#summary closest ski resort that allows snowboarding: Sundance about 40 minutes away PROS - swanky - more than enough bedrooms (7 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 3 king beds, 3 queens, 1 bunk room) - theater room so we can watch the Texans win the AFC. Also something about video games or whatever - outdoor hot tub - a hot tub that is outdoors - let me repeat that: this isn't your hotel's hot tub. This thing is outdoors in potentially freezing temperatures. That's like a dream of mine. CONS - more expensive ($450/night, which is about $57/night if 8 people go) - farther away from airport (~1 hour), could present a challenge if people arrive late due to delays CABIN 2 - http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p230603#summary closest ski resort that allows snowboarding: Snow Basin PROS - closer to the airport (~30 minutes?) - cheaper ($210/night, or $26/night if 8 people go) CONS - fewer bedrooms (I get the master bedroom, although everyone except elessar has the option to fight me and take the bedroom if they win) - no outdoor hot tub - that picture of the father and son with the sled is really pixelated - the guy in the wakeboarding picture looks like a douche - closest city is Park City, which will be hella crowded from the Sundance Film Festival (I'm planning on going into town at least one night for dinner/whatever) Why can't I hold all these winter destinations? Does anyone else want to offer any input? Is there anyone whose decision to go would be affected by the price difference between the cabins? Is there anyone whose decision to go would be affected by Tex wearing a swimsuit?
