In Response To: Very nice (davidfuchs) : It's interesting you gave them human faces (still following Bungie tradition? : :P), but I really like your interpretation. It does feel like something : they are less wearing than living in. I always imagined them as looking fairly human, especially Manipulars like Bornstellar, going by descriptions from Bear's books. Not sure if it comes across in the image, but the Didact is supposed to have a flatter nose, which is something I thought might serve to set him apart from a human. Also, I actually doodled a few designs that were more alien, but all of them came off as silly or too alien to my liking. But it's fun to see how differently people envision them.
