Having listened to all the actual soundtrack stuff in this thread, I know I got my violins, which is something, and that there were moments were things were looking up but then it would sound like an average movie score again; having done that and read most of both interviews, and heard some samples from before and read a little on the direction for this, on the whole, I don't like the approach, the methods, or the results. With all due respect, Mr. Davidge, I think you're going about this in pretty much the wrong way, and I think whoever's giving you a framework to work in messed up somewhat too.
