My idea was that if Sangheili existed in the ME universe, they would have been 'harvested' during the Prothean cycle, thus they would have been apart of the Prothean Empire. Because of this, their armor would have taken a different direction, staying more 'arbiter armor like' than what we are used to seeing in the Halo games. :)
