In Response To: 'Friends' make and break this game *mediumish* (nillapuddin) The issue seems, at least partly, to be that Reach's implimentation of TrueSkill doesn't care at all as to party size matching. I regularly hop into BTB as a random and get matched into game with like 9 randoms and a powerful team of 7, or some other nonsensical combination. The algorithm really needs to start accounting for team coordination effectiveness boosts. The moderately longer search times would benefit everyone. Of course, it doesn't exactly help that a lot of people quit the moment they see they're matched up against a team of 8. :/
