In Response To: Some more delicious Halo Wars animations. (Quirel) Okay, I might be alone in this, but, this has just become one of my most favorite Halo things... EVER. E-VER. Thank you so much, Quirel, for sharing this. I could watch stuff like this for hours and hours and not get bored, especially if I got to see the same thing over and over until I completely wrapped my head around it, and then got to move on to the next animation. I would easily pay $60 (more, actually) just for a game where I am in a Firefight-type situation where all I can use, for whatever reason, is awesome, fancy close-combat attacks as a SPARTAN-II in MJOLNIR, moving in slo-mo when I want to, and having supreme agility and fluidity of movement. As a sidenote, I am enjoying the living crap out of the close combat in Syndicate. There are definitely little moments where I feel like a SPARTAN-II in that game. It is things like this that further make plain my desire to see the SPARTANs from the novels done justice in a first-person immersive narrative experience. Yes, this is the kind of stuff that Venerance was first born out of.
