I wanted to drive the Warthog into the water, and I figured I'd use usual means to do that, because what's the fun in doing all that just to move it in monitor mode (and really I was getting sick of monitor mode)? Unfortunately it wound up under the crates, so I tried to get it out before I gave up and destroyed it. The other video (in the last post) is me throwing a rock at it, pretty unspectacular.
I actually went and deleted the spawns before I tried anything else but I spawned elsewhere and before I could think of what to do next I realized the pillar spawn was inside the teleporter area so I figured it wouldn't work, apparently I was wrong.
I had no idea about the "remote controlling pieces" thing, that's cool (for lack of a better word). Also the tank didn't work-- and I would've known anyway because I tried throwing that, too-- because vehicles bounce off shield doors. At one point I got a tank to land very close to the shield doors and blew it up in hopes the explosion or a piece of debris would go through but it's random so it didn't work and I didn't try that again.

You cannot fall off the floor.
