In Response To: ugh sydney ;-) (kidtsunami) Haha... they're all valid points. I think Bondi Beach is definitely overrated, it's the neighbouring beaches that make Sydney. Especially this little beach called Tamarama... a visit there was actually the first spark that led me to loving Sydney, and that was after living there for my whole life. That, and the view of the city from Gladesville Bridge... seeing all the suburbs along the river with the huge city in the background still makes me stop and stare in appreciation every time, and I catch a bus across that bridge every day. I really don't think there's any city quite like it. Also, Newtown. Best place. Of all time.
