In Response To: historically Abbey Road (Miguel Chavez) : A culmination of all the culture, personalities, and maturity surrounding the : Fab Four. A brilliant brilliant album. Yeah, but you like that prog rock crap, don't you? (I kid, I kid.) I see your point historically and I used to believe this was true musically, too. Thought they just got better and better. Now I think Sgt. Peppers is their most dated, and Rubber Soul their polished diamond of perfection. But hey, I bought the MONO boxed set, so that tells you something about my mindset. And Hedge, you're on to something with that style, and I would know. Yellow Submarine was the first LP I owned (first of 1,000). I'd seen the movie as the Friday night movie of the week or something. Was looking for Eleanor Rigby, and didn't find it until Christmas, when my Beatles collection increased threefold. I blame the Beatles for my exquisite musical taste. ;-)
