Embarrassingly, I didn't discover : that plateau (or forgot about it) until my Anniversary playthrough. Nice : place for a picnic. I never messed with huge battles on any map except for AotCR. I remember looking at some of his early videos from way, way back and thinking it was really cool that I wasn't the only one who would do this type of stuff. My personal favorite, was trying to keep every enemy alive on the bridge to the Control room, let the elites get the banshees, and then work my way up only on foot. Good times. Heh, and to think, I did this for fun, when achievements weren't even a thing! Man, I feel like I've lost my way when it comes to games today. Actually, thinking about it now, lately it seems like Achievements have been preventing me from having this kind of fun. I mean, I don't go in and mess around like I used to for many games anymore... sadface :(
