Thanks. : You know... it's funny, as long as I've been playing Halo CE, and as many : tricks and exploits as I've tried, I have never successfully done the : bridge descent. I remember a long time ago, hearing of a method on foot : which involved slide-jumping down the ledges. Gave it a couple half-assed : attempts during a playthrough, failed, gave it up. But that turret method : looks very doable... I'm inspired. Going to load up good old AOTCR : tomorrow and give it a try. :) Shade riding is fine if you've got PAL Xbox, but on NTSC Xbox or PC it's problematic. My bridge descent guide has advice on the various methods. Juggertrout's shade riding method is here, while xbill's method of dropping to the near left ledge (standard for NTSC and PC, and probably what you tried before by the sound of it) is here.
