I had a panel that showed it was the same white spartan, but decided that was hamfisted. Twas you, dear reader, who saved Buck's ass. Commentary on the first part of the comic. The white spartan is my Noble Six, and it started in my mind as an explanation for his white armor (snow camo), and morphed into his story, the meditation of a lone wolf who dies a lone wolf but no longer wants to be one. It's also a tribute the co-op night experience and those who shared it. On another level it's the story of me, who was mainly a lurker/infrequent poster here for many years, and how that's changed. In the realm of my Bungie fandom, I feel like I have left the lone wolf stuff behind. I know that's a stretch, and I don't blame anyone for being confused by that first section. I seriously considered cutting it out completely because it felt indulgent. Ultimately, though, I made this for me. ;-)
