In Response To: A Tale of Love and Betrayal(s) *IMGs* *VIDs* (bluerunner)

: Monday night Cortana, General Vagueness, Kermit, and I stumbled into a party
: and decided to tackle Exodus: LASO. There was much laughter, crying,
: accidental betrayals, and a short lived romance.

: Last one to the finish buys Moa burgers for everybody.
:

: Things started out well, until Cortana failed to follow the signs.

: This is a blood free zone.
:

: It's really hot in this flaming helmet. I had to stop and cool off from time
: to time.

: Hang on guys, I want to see if the water will get any colder
:

: General Vagueness served as our tour guide throughout the level.

: Vagueness shows us a point of no interest
:

: General Vagueness demonstrates how to hit on a woman. Literally.
:

: He also expresses his dislike for large sunglasses.
:

: Cortana thought it best to keep her distance.

: Stop staring at my needles, Vagueness.
:

: Ok, enough picking on GV (for now).

: We got stuck for a while in the atrium before the elevator. We had a lot of
: fun (and frustration) formulating plans and executing them. We also failed
: a lot.

: This will not end well.
:

: I lost track of how many times we killed the same grunts over and over.

: Shhh, let's just enjoy this moment in silence.
:

: Stop asking me when ODST Coop Nights start!
:

: Hey guys, I found us some cover
:

: We also made a friend. Her name is Lupe. She didn't say much. but her
: presence inspired us. Well, it inspired us to hide in the room with her
: because we're cowards.

: Hello, Lupe. We're here to use you as cover protect you.
:

: Lupe and General Vagueness hit it off quick. While Kermit, Cortana, and I
: were busy fighting for the survival of our planet, Vagueness and Lupe were
: in the corner giggling and making kissy face.

: Early on Vagueness tries to lock Lupe into a serious relationship.
:

: In the end, Lupe wasn't ready for commitment. She tried to let Vagueness down
: easy, using a technique I've experienced in my love life. She carried him
: piggyback into enemy fire.
:
: Direct link

: Ok, back to the battle. Our little room proved to be a death trap, so we left
: Lupe to her fate and found a much better area to camp and pick off the
: covies.

: The trap is set
:

: Ow! He's sitting on my foot!
:

: We finally overcame our foes and met up with the Bullfrogs. They assisted us
: well, but unfortunately I wasn't much help. Especially when it came to
: stealthy teamwork.
:
: Direct link.

: Fortunately we were able to regroup and move on.

: Wherever there is injustice, you will find us. Wherever there is suffering,
: we'll be there! Wherever liberty is threatened! You will find... The Three
: Amigos!
:

: Time to bring in the big guns.

: We are green and very, very mean!
:

: Our plan for the final area was to carry fuel rod guns and rockets over on
: the falcons, then give them to our army buddies. Unfortunately, these were
: the most yellow-bellied soldiers on Reach. All they wanted to do was hide
: behind rocks. Cortana said we should have brought airmen.

: Get out there and fight, soldier!
:

: We wanted them to fight on foot, but they insisted on riding in the warthog.
: I finally took the matter into my own hands and got rid of their precious
: warthog.

: "Let's ride". No, you're walking
:
: Direct link.

: We finally activated the missile batteries and made our push on the final
: switch. Cortana reached it first, but was killed right as she hit the
: button. The cutscene started, and then we were thrown back to the previous
: checkpoint.

: Such a tease
:

: After about 10 more minutes of fighting, Kermit sneaked his way in and
: finished the job.

: It's not easy being transparent.
:

: It was a fun night. It's not often I get enough time to do a LASO run, and
: I'm glad I had such a great group to do it with.

(Sorry I didn't respond last night)

That was so much fun! Pretty sure the best parts of the night were the teasing final cutscene and the troopers chasing after the Warthog (they were so heartbroken!) We found through pain, frustration and tears (from laughing so damn hard) a lot of good strategies.

Awesome writeup, Blue. :)
