I let people shoot the ball--I thought it was fun extra feature, which compensated for how wonky the Halo ball behaves compared to real pinball. However, turning on bottomless clip would make griefing the map way too easy--you could simply hover the ball over one of the scoring blocks by constantly shooting it back up. Forcing the player to reload makes that kind of exploit impossible.
