This kind of stuff confuses me.

: Would you like some cheese with your whine? People wished so hard for it, now
: they have it, and they still AREN'T HAPPY.

Why is it that people always act like the views of people wanting a remake are all the same? When I was speculating on what I might want in a remake, I certainly never discussed any particular desire for a campaign remake; I'm more than happy with my oXbox/CRT setup. The only thing I did express desire for is online console multiplayer with good netcode.

Many of the people who wished primarily for a remastering of the campaign actually do seem to be happy with it. The people like myself who can't fathom the idea that the campaign might actually be improved, but who would see some value in expanding the multiplayer functionality to new old horizons, not so much, for obvious reasons.

Stop calling everyone hypocrites. The people asking for a remake weren't a hive mind, and the people complaining about it aren't a hive mind.

: Can you maybe be grateful you
: got ANYTHING?

No. Nothing I asked for is coming. If I get CEA, it'll probably be for curiousity reasons, I'll play the campaign a few times, and then I'll go back to indefinitely playing Halo 1 on my oXbox/CRT combo. In fact, I'll probably even be laughing at all the poor people with just LCD TV's, 360's, and CEA. Because, in a nutshell, when their needler goes pfht, my needler goes BOOM!

And even if I thought CEA was merely adequate, I still wouldn't be "grateful." This is a business venture; I'm not deeply grateful to to the gas station clerk on my average fill up. You want gratefulness, you need to do something above and beyond. You need to impress me. Make the game more than worth my money.
