You might be right. What happens when you land on them is strange. The coils won't blow up (they just turn yellow) and you're left with a fully charged shield. It's like you landed in a giant, fluffy cotton ball traveling at 1 mph.
Anyway, I'll try and test it tonight to see if the fusion coils will explode when they're set to fixed.

I just had a thought. Maybe the finish of your next Ninja Challenge would be to land on top of a standing fusion coil from the highest point in Forge World without dying. Sounds fun. LOL
