In Response To: 10th Anniversary Halo art book (CaptainTony)
Been trying to get my hands on The Art of Halo 3 for a loooong time, hopefully this will include some of the gems from that release! I love Halo concept art, it was the only reason I bought the Reach strategy guide and was definitely worth the purchase.
It is amazing to see how much extra thought and creativity that has gone into visualising the game that might not have made the final cut. For example in the Reach strategy guide I particularly liked Isaac's trooper concepts, which included an Army Pilot, Army MP and also what I assume is an Oni Operative/Trooper which was probably the coolest - dressed in all black with a cap and shades, also looked to be wearing a simmilar upper combat harness to Dare's from ODST which I thought was a cool touch!
