Of course Korny couldn't resist the call of the challenge (the call of the challenge sounds a bit like a dying Engineer mating with a female Wookie)! It was an experience. Truly one of the greatest Firefight games (if not the greatest) that I've ever had in Reach. Ever. Memorable moments of tension, fun conversations about the universe (and forum), and a brotherly bonding that can only be forged when four souls with soiled pants cling to each other in terror, crying out for mercy as countless Elites flow into the room, confused and embarrassed by the truly pathetic sight.
... Too vivid? Ah well, maybe a video will clear things up:
Yeah, that video? That was about half of the WAVE. What made things worse was the drop pod that came in to assist the regular wave. Oh, and while we're on the subject...
My heart honestly skipped a beat as I gasped out in horror. My hands were shaking for the rest of the round. Anyway, great writeup, as always. Glad to hear that Padraig was too busy doing his.... things... to help. I would have missed out on my favorite gaming night since our Epic PoA/LW Co-Op night. Anyway, Bones and I compiled a huge Album with screenshots, which can be found on the link below. Get to it, you still have a chance to win the contest (until, of course, Urk posts it for our beloved friends over at the Bnet forums to participate in)! :3 That's how you do it Booooooiz!
