*shrugs* Apparently the author has some nostalgia for the jumping capabilities? Dunno. It is kind of a weird choice, considering Halo also has the automag, M6D, and Gauss 'hog. All of those provided way more moments of 'I am a god' than the Brute Shot. To each their own, in any case. He should give Fallout a try. Slow-mo head shot on a charging Deathclaw with the Gauss Rifle at point blank range is pure sex.
