I doubt we'd get an answer on that. =p From my own experience with the Republic Commando and Gears of War novels, the focus is generally with the troops and the camaraderie within military units, as well as the relationships and fractions between ranks. Officers are fallible and can make terrible decisions. The influence from her own experience in the British military is evident, where the Regiment is a way of life, and are fleshed out with their own long histories. I'd guess I would say Contact Harvest or Dirt is probably closest to what she tends to specialise in. Very character driven work and on the smaller, more personal scale.
