In Response To: Baby's First Panorama: "A Beautiful Tragedy" (Croqueta) : After reading Hedge's simple and easy Pano Guide , I thought, "Hey, : that doesn't seem so hard! I'm gonna give it a shot." And what a : better time to try then for Bungie All Stars: Wallpaper Edition. : Ultimately, I decided that the Pano was too busy (and too big!) to be a : wallpaper and went with a simple screenshot instead. : When creating the shot, I forwent Hedge's advice and tried stitching together : a whopping twelve images--with relative success. I had to do some : 'shopping to fix the Covenant Cruiser which was totally askew (my wife's : rationalization: "It's space, they don't have to face each other : directly"). Ultimately, I ended up with this, which I am pretty happy : about: : Click image for GIANT-sized version. : (It's a JPEG--the PNG wouldn't upload to imgur for some reason. If anyone : wants the 5.6 MB PNG, I'd be happy to send it to you.) I love it. Very cool image. The guide was a starting point, a quick "how to." You have taken a step beyond and so, you are ready to leave the Temple. Really nice job. -Hedge.
