In Response To: Getting Out of Exodus; Mysterious Banshee (Lord Friendship) : When I saw that someone had been stranded on the beach in Exodus in a : over-burdened Falcon, it made me wonder if said beach was accessible on : foot. : : It turns out you can fly from the Beachhead area of this level over there : with the jetpack. I didn't know if anyone had done this before, but I : thought it was neat anyways. Here's a short video showing how to do it : (unrendered, sorry): : http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=15941052 : Basically, when the Falcon drops you off for the last portion of this level, : ignore all the enemies and hug the beach. Eventually you'll come to a : cliff with a few bits of driftwood. From the water you can fly up (through : the Out of Bounds warning) to a small safe area. Once your jetpack : recharges, you can fly over to the beach you previously flew over in the : Falcon. But, there is an : unoccupied Banshee, which unfortunately you cannot use because Banshees : seem to be forbidden in this level. I thought this was interesting; is it : an artifact from my earlier trip through here, or is it some kind of : secret? Is there some way to activate Banshee boarding for the level? I'm : going to try some stuff and see what happens. : In any case, you can "walk" on the water, making Six look like he's : floating.
