I don't understand people sometimes.

Unambiguous writing does not have to be extremely eloquent. There are often metaphors hidden in common speech, but it is possible to avoid them by writing carefully. (I attempted to do so in the above two sentences, anyway. Did I fail?) Anyway, I made it a page or two. I quit when his argument about applying "special reflexivity" started seeming extremely superfluous; seems like I would have just defined Halo Canon as the eternally consistant core entity that exists regardless of inconsistant surface manifestations, rather than run through that page-long circular mess of his where, ultimately, all he seems to have accomplished is establishing that definition. (Sorry for that sentence.)
