: I knew it! I only saw your gamertag once (during co-op night a couple weeks : ago) but said to someone that was an LotR inspired name. Mine's the slogan : on my gamertag. :) I have to say, you are literally the first person to ever have noticed that! I tend to just tell people, "eh, it's something from mythology" to avoid the topic. I remember waaaay back when I first got XBox Live trying to figure out a name, and they were all taken, and I didn't want to add numbers or weird symbols to make them work. I literally spent an hour or more typing in a long list of names I wanted. Eventually I got down to 'Shadow Star' and found out that was taken. So as anyone might do, I grabbed my copy of the Silmarillion and translated Shadow Star to elvish, hence 'Gwath Gil'. But I've long wondered if I should change it. It's kind of annoying when people call me Goth Girl...
