I don't think I agree with it - if we all played Halo the : way we'd fight in a real battle, the games would be REALLY boring, I think : - but it's a worthwhile thought to keep in your head as you're deciding : what your next move is. :) Thats my main issue with the article, it almost condones camping. On Call of Duty I usually compare my performance to a specific friends, he camps more than me, and gets a lot less deaths, but im pretty sure im having more fun. :P If he gets 26 kills - 1 death and I get 30 kills - 5 deaths, despite having equal K/D ratios I not only helped the team get to the score quicker, but I simply did more in the game. Dont get me wrong, if it was real life, I would much rather not die - but thats the beuty of video games - you can do amazing things and take risks without actually having to really pay for them. Why play it safe to achieve the goal of no deaths when you can out there and partake in the awesome combat made possible by the game?
