Big update at my site, relating to Elite fireworks, in which you get a couple of strangely frozen Elites in AOTCR who can be sent shooting up like fireworks in various ways. I've radically expanded my 2005 article about it (including new discoveries, improved set-up work and over 50 pictures), plus I've got two movies for you. BCM23 shows assorted launching with ejected Elites (ejected out of their Ghosts that is, at which point they became frozen in mid-air) while BCM24 instead uses pre-frozen Elites (a new way of doing things) and focuses on 'tag launching', a phenomenon I somehow missed before. With tag launching you arrange for a bunch of plasma grenades to go off on launch, and BLAM! - up he goes, no rockets required (though you can add some for direction). Makes for a very satisfying effect!
