Halo Wars presents the Mark IV model of armor. The Spartans didn't receive their Mark V armor until JUST before the invasion of Reach.

So what if they look Halo Warish? I don't understand where the disconnect between Halo Wars and Halo exists. Halo Wars, despite personal opinions, still has the name Halo in it, and takes place in the Haloverse, so all assets, visual and otherwise, are part of the canon now.

I may not own Halo Wars, nor have I played through it all, but I still comprehend the fact that Halo Wars is Halo.

Sorry, this rant isn't aimed specifically at you, its just something that has bothered me for a while.
