Basically. Those logs were far more epic than any part of the campaign. An entire Spartan team sacrificing themselves to buy Marines some time to take a shot with a superweapon? I think I prefer that death to anything the campaign had to offer.

Admittedly, it would have been hard to convey if you were part of that team, but if Toy Story 3 can have a scene as powerful as the furnace, there's a writer out there who could make it work.

And MAC rounds that actually did damage!? Hooray! (I'm assuming the payload were MAC rounds)
