In Response To: Most scary moment in a long while *Spoiler* (Nidonocu) : Did anyone else find the post-credits sequence terrifying? Your Spartan is : alone, there is no team, no friendly AI, no one left to extract you, and : no way off the Covenant controlled planet. You know how its going to end : and there is nothing you can truely do to stop it. : It could be argued its basically Firefight with one life left but in that, we : laugh it off and go check our scores. This time, there was something : truely horrific about being given one simple mission objective and knowing : you'd fail, 'Survive'. You're stuckin some random little area surrounded in slow-kill barriers and bunch of covenant forces drop in but any given group behaves passively until you engage them and over the course of the fight your HUD starts getting shattered in a way not seen anywhere else? It would have been awesome with regular mechanics in a much larger area designed such that the horrifically de-immersionizing barriers didn't need to be there, but as is, I thought it felt rather contrived.
